Joining Op Shop Social Club was like finally finding my tribe - a thrift-loving, thrill-of-the-hunt seeking, bargain-hunting tribe. More than the many finds today, the absolute best score was sharing the afternoon with kindred spirits.

The tour includes being whisked off to several of Darwin’s best opshops in a spacious vehicle, snacks and drinks along the way, and personalized thrifting guidance from our tour guide, Gen. I honestly had a blast and would have happily done this for hours on end.

Gen is a Gem. The passion she has for this experience is evident in the detail and simplicity. Gen's customer service is impeccable, from the pre-tour brief and throughout the experience. She offers help and advice where you need it and is gentle and kind in her approach. The fact that drinks and nibbles are included in your ride plays second fiddle to a wonderful host and joyful afteroon.

This was so much fun! Gen is a fantastic host we had the best time searching for treasures and hanging out.

Absolutely brilliant day out! We did a tour today with the Op Shop Social Club and had the absolute best time. Geni and Gayson are fantastic hosts who put together an incredibly fun, high-energy experience.
​The op shop thrift-store bingo challenge kept everyone laughing and hunting through the racks... I was SO close to winning, I just needed to track down a tourist tea towel! Margie even scored an absolute bargain with a $3 poof. If you love thrifting, hunting for retro treasures, or just want a unique and incredibly fun day out, you absolutely have to book a tour. Thanks for having us, team! 10/10 recommend.

Highly recommend an afternoon with Op Shop Social Club. Gen is an absolute gem and the best guide you could hope for. She knows the op shops so well and made some great suggestions along the way. Being chauffeured around in style was a bonus - we had drinks and snacks and some lovely chats while we travelled. I was on the look out for an outfit for a dress up party and I found it! Bonus was it was discounted half price so for $3.50 I am set. Such a fun afternoon thanks Gen!

My time spent with Op Shop Social Club was an absolute joy. Gen was an amazing guide and I had so much fun with our group. There was nothing specific I was searching for, but just enjoyed browsing in the shops and, of course, ended up with a couple of items. To add to our fun, Gen had organised a 'bingo card' which truly we all enjoyed. Lovely snacks were included, plus drinks, and our group had a wonderful afternoon. I definitely would recommend this tour to absolute everyone. Remember, we are also helping charities, plus think about 'circular economy'; there is too much waste in our world.

Spent the arvo looking for a fit for bass in the grass, can say SUCCESS!!!! Gen was absolutely accommodating and very helpful,, recommending outfits, laughs , all round lovely lady. Helped me come out of my social anxiety bubble, absolutely gorgeous lady with such spirit , we will be back!! 100% recommend to do the trip
